About Me

I am a 22-year-old college student from southern California studying journalism/communications. Scrapbooking is my creative passion.

I completed my first scrapbook in eighth grade as a required assignment on a school trip to Washington, D.C. that I went on. I dabbled in the craft over the next few years, but did not become completely immersed in it until early 2005.

My scrapbooking style can be described as funky-cool, colorful and fun. I love layering different elements, especially patterned papers, and mixing up different products. I have been told that my style has a collage-y look with a blocking base. My abilities are versatile, and I can scrap both traditional and digital layouts, both single and multi-photo in both 8.5x11 and 12x12 sizes, along with other smaller sizes.

I enjoy working with different products and thrive on deadlines.

Aside from scrapbooking, I love to shop, read, listen to music, and spend time with those I love the most. I love sports, especially baseball, and enjoy cheering on the Dodgers. I also am the managing editor for the campus newspaper.

I have been fortunate to have some terrific opportunities come my way, and am always looking for more. Specifically, I am always on the lookout for publishing and designing opportunities. I would also love a shot at writing opportunities within the scrapbooking industries to combine my interests in journalism/writing and scrapbooking.
